The Diamond B-60 speakers have been already highly acknowledged and prized on the market that is why it was not an easy task to improve them further keeping their original sound style.

We implemented our newest concept “Born in Europe – Crafted for the World” to upgrade almost every single aspect of B-60's sound performance.
The outcome is amazing and results in even deeper, perfectly controlled and defined bass, more smooth and rich midrange and appealing, detailed and crystal clear highs as well as very open and airy soundstage.

Internal changes:
The S-TLIE enclosure (Super Taga Low Interference Enclosures) structure has been slightly upgraded to provide bigger internal volume and additional level of rigidness. This results in lowered distortions and vibrations and further eliminated an internal standing waves problem.

Ogrodnik crossover

Performance is controlled by Ogrodnik crossover sections, specially and personally designed and engineered by well recognized Polish loudspeaker designer and audio press reviewer Mr. Arek Ogrodnik. We use minimal number of ultra-high quality and carefully selected components in the high-pass and low-pass crossover sections to ensure the best neutrality, to handle massive amounts of power and to provide the greatest precision.

Internal wiring

The wiring is custom designed and built for the Diamond v.2 by XLO U.S.A. – one of the best audio cables manufacturer in the World. 14AWG multi-stranded Oxygen Free Copper XLO internal wiring is used for connecting all drivers with crossovers and to ensure that the incoming signal will not lose the most important details on the path from the amplifier to the drivers.

New high-end enclosure damping material to better break up the standing waves, lower resonances and limit distortions what improves the smoothness and characteristics of sound in all ranges.

Cosmetic changes:

The front logo badge is now magnetic mounted - it can be easily removed to match the speakers to your room decor.

New finish has been added to range of high grade natural wood veneers: ebony veneer with clear gloss piano lacquer.

Technology

CABINET

Speaker cabinet design and construction is one of the most critical elements influencing sound performance. Based on our TLIE – Taga Low Interference Enclosures technology TAGA Harmony have developed a new high-end solution to even more increase stiffness and limit any unwanted resonances of the cabinet.

The new technology is called S-TLIE Super Taga Low Interference Enclosures.

Super rigid and thick 18mm MDF boards are used for the walls. Internal bracing is used to further strengthen the whole structure and achieve even greater rigidity. The walls are firmly anchored to the 75mm backbone beam highly strengthening the whole construction.

The whole cabinet is tilted back slightly to time-align all the drivers – it brings the tweeter’s output into the best and correct alignment. The bent shape of the side walls as well as the curved top plays a significant role in lowering unwanted vibrations, diffraction, turbulences and standing waves effect.

The high-end African wood veneers painted with 9-layer clear piano lacquer is extremely luxurious and enduring.

To keep elegant and sleek appearance of the front panel there are no grill sockets thanks to a magnetic mountable grill as well as the Diamond badge is magnet mounted and can be removed if required.

The high-end 30mm (1.18”) O-TPTTD (Oversized Taga Pure Titanium Tweeter Dome) is 20% bigger than in our Platinum Special Edition series to allow even higher power handling and more accurate, clear, smooth and detailed performance. Ferrofluid cooled and heavy duty 28mm CCAW and silver wiring voice coil as well as 2 magnets (Φ80 & Φ70) help the tweeter to bear high power. It has exceptional precision and works with ultra-extended high-frequency response up to 33 kHz (+/- 3dB).

The E-TPAF (Enlarged Taga Pure Aluminum Faceplate) and metal grill helps even further dispersion of high-frequencies.

The 165mm (6.5") TNPPCD (Taga Non-pressed Paper Cone Driver) woofers – each equipped with a oversized magnet and aluminum chassis. They are extremely rigid and utilize vibration-free solutions. The heavy duty 4-layer pure copper ribbon voice coil allows high power handling. Our TNPPCD drivers offer deep, precise and detailed bass performance. Thanks to a larger surface area to push air – the sound can be played at much louder levels.

BASSREFLEX

Low-turbulence and high-velocity port provides exceptional dispersion of low frequencies.

BINDING POSTS

The high quality, gold-plated banana binding posts are accepting raw speaker cables up to 10AWG and most popular types of connectors.
They offer bi-wiring and bi-amping for wider dispersions and spaciousness, higher sonic accuracy and more precise sound.

We use high-end 4N pure oxygen free copper wire jumpers terminated with gold-plated banana and spades connectors.
