We have always considered the Platinum as one of the most important series in the premium category.
That is why high expectations were placed on our development team during crafting the newest Platinum v.3 subwoofer. 
We were committed to create extraordinary subwoofer in terms of sound performance while maintaining highly-acclaimed shapes and looks of the current model. 
We have to admit without any doubt that the final result is amazing and even exceeds our expectations. 

We implemented our newest concept “Born in Europe – Crafted for the World” in this new project resulting in deep, very well controlled and defined bass.

We do believe that such high performance has never been available in this price level and far beyond.

The Platinum SW-10 v.3 is a 10” single driver subwoofer with built-in high-current amplifier and utilizing slotted bass port on the rear.

The v.3 version utilizes a totally new amplifier and power boards with higher grade components (capacitors etc.), a heavily modified woofer and redesigned internal cabinet structure (bigger internal volume and increased stiffness).

The new built-in amplifier deliveres 240 watts of power, is characterized by much better efficency and greater current drive which results in lower distorsions, more smooth and flat response and much faster amp operation with significantly reduced operation noises. An integrated clipping limiter maintains the best performance and safe operation of the amp and woofer even at extremely high volume levels.

The redesigned bass driver can operate in higher amplitude ranges and can faster react on any changes in the audio signal structure.

A removable IEC type power cord gives an option to upgrade your system with a premium audiophile power cable in any time.

CABINET

A subwoofer cabinet design and built-quality is one of the most critical elements influencing sound performance.

We have developed TLIE (Taga Low Interference Enclosures) cabinets to increase stiffness and limit any unwanted resonances of the enclosure.
The TLIE cabinets are built with high density and quality MDF boards and stand on solid feet which provide good isolation from the floor.
The rounded edges not only look modern and eye-catching but also play a significant role in lowering unwanted vibrations, diffraction, turbulences and standing waves effect, which can negatively affect subwoofer’s sound performance.

The internal configuration (acoustical labyrinth) of a cabinet supports bassreflex port efficiency and speed.

Acoustic damping material used inside enclosures eliminates problem of internal standing waves.  

Carefully selected high quality vinyl finishes are very durable, elegant, imitate natural wood texture and are very pleasant in touch. The vinyl finishes are neatly applied to cabinets using precise machinery to provide the best looks.

THAW - Taga High Amplitude Woofer offers extended cone excursion, which results in increased speed and range. Bass is fast, strong, low and dynamic.
 
TSAC – Taga Super Air Cooling used in the woofer helps quicker and more effectively dispersion of internal heat to support high power and volumes.
 

BASSREFLEX
Low-turbulence and high-velocity rear slotted port provides exceptional dispersion of low frequencies and are located very close to the floor.


AMPLIFIER

THCA - Taga High Current Amplifier offers huge amounts of raw power, and oversized, high-performance heatsink quickly dissipates generated heat, increasing efficiency and range of amplifier. 

High Current Amplifier utilizes very well designed boards layout and high quality components to provide reliability and the highest possible bass quality.

High quality toroidal power transformer provides stable energy which is available at all power levels.
