The electricity network in our homes or workplaces is exposed to different interferences for instance radio frequency interreference (RFI) electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by appliances connected to the same network (refrigerators, air conditioners, computers etc.).
These interferences are not only produced inside your house or office but by all appliances in your building or even far outside it and can differ on the time of day or week when the traffic on the electrical network changes.
All these interferences which we call noises can get into your AC power and interfere with your system.
This “dirty” electricity can have a negative effect on performance of your audio-video system.
We already offer a line of power conditioners, filters and DC blockers (PC, PF and DC series) and now to complement our strive to limit those unwanted mains pollutions we have developed an efficient power cord which can be used to power these devices and all kind of audio-video and other electronics equipment.
KEY FEATURES
3 Conductors: multi-stranded, extreme-purity, Single Crystal 5N (99.999%) Oxygen Free Copper for all three 12 AWG conductors (each 65 x 0.25 mm) for the best conductivity and optimal power transmission.
Insulation and Shielding:
PVC (6 mm) insulation for each conductor to insulate and separate them from external interferences.
Tripple shielding of the conductors to limit RFI and EMI interferences: aluminum foil (30 mm), braided 4N (99.99%) Oxygen Free Copper layer (16 x 7 x 0.12 mm) and PVC jacket (16.8 mm).
Extra Shielding: Nylon jacket.
Plug and a Connector from the TPC Series with 24K gold-plated pins and contacts: high-quality Schuko plug with non-magnetic brass, gold-plated pins and ground and solid IEC-13 connector with gold-plated contacts to provide extreme conductivity, insulation and connection - both can withstand 16A / 250V loads.
